Graphics Communications Limited in order to concentrate on Communication and Navigational Aid equipment and did several large projects with the BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority), DGDP (Directorate General Defense Purchase), Bangladesh ARMY, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Navy and Shipping Corporation.
Mr. Z. H. Khan was visionary. With a huge vision in the RMG sector Mr. Khan started SUNTEX LIMITED a giant Textile factory where he took part in the growing RMG sector as well created a sustainable employment in Bangladesh.
Mr. Khan M. Ahsan (son of founder Chairman Mr. Z. H. Khan) after his Graduation in Electrical Engineering from Australia turned back to country with an aim to take part in the growth of country economy. With a vision to be a diversified product and solution provider initially he joined with his father where the experience and new ideas became together to set a new benchmark. New Generation Graphics Limited was inaugurated by Mr. Khan M Ahsan to become as one of leading trading house in the Aviation, Hospitality, Banking Security Printing & Solar Power Industries in Bangladesh. Alap Communications Limited, the largest ISP was formed during the days to serve the common country people with Internet Service and thus to widen the exploration of the latest happenings worldwide to the common people of Bangladesh.
Secura Bangladesh Limited is joint venture with Secura Singapore Pte. Ltd. It started since 2000 as the 1st Security Printing House in Private Sector in Bangladesh. At present SBL is serving to over 50% of commercial banks in Bangladesh by supplying MICR Cheque, PIN Mailer, other secured financial instruments and documents, Educational Certificates to over 60 private and public universities. SBL is renowned name for its trust & reliability and recently has completed a project of supplying Digital Cards and Secured Certificates for the freedom fighters of Bangladesh.
New Generation Graphics Limited decided to sell its company Alap Communications Limited to OLLO ( A Russian Company ) and all the Frequency to operate Alap was allocated by BTRC (Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission) in the name of New Generation Graphics Limited. By the order of the court in 2006, the New Generation was divided into two parts, one part became Next Generation Graphics Limited with all its previous liability, assets and, experience transferred to this company, only the frequency remained with New Generation Graphics Limited, the shares being transferred to OLLO.
NGGL Group management had taken decision in 2010 to transfer the ownership of Graphics Communications Limited to Mohammad Monjur Elahi, so, under his leadership GCL has diversified in other areas of business and achieved significant projects in water drainage and irrigation sector in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL) is pioneering the concept of creating worth out of waste in Bangladesh being the first and only post-consumer PET bottle recycling plant of the nation. Its operations epitomize the ‘recover and recycle’ business model in which post-consumer PET bottles that used to be considered waste is revived for new use. Starting its operation in July 2012, BPCL has set up a plant that is capable of producing 10,500 metric tons (MT) of recycled PET resin per year using used PET bottles as raw materials.
